Information
Decoy Lake is known for producing some of the highest match weights in the area, with the record being nearly 150lbs. The lake is primarily dominated by carp, but also contains crucians, tench, rudd, roach, perch, and chub. Anglers can achieve good weights of rudd and roach when the carp are not actively feeding. The lake is conveniently located a short walk from the car park and features central reed beds and an island at the far end. Many of the pegs around the lake have overhanging bushes and trees, providing additional features for anglers to fish to. Despite its shallow depth, with a maximum of about four feet, Decoy Lake offers a variety of fishing opportunities for anglers of all skill levels. Whether you are targeting carp or other species, this lake provides a diverse and rewarding fishing experience for all who visit.
