Moorfields is a popular fishing destination located in a 3 lake complex, offering 2 match lakes and 1 pleasure fishing lake. The large match lake features 54 pegs, while the smaller match pool has 30 pegs. The pleasure lake can comfortably accommodate 20-25 anglers. All three lakes are well stocked with a variety of coarse species, catering to anglers of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced professionals. The first lake was built in 1999 and opened for angling in 2000. Recognizing a demand for a quality match venue, a purpose-built 54 peg match lake was added in 2002, followed by a 30 peg match lake in 2004. What began as a small family fishing pond has since grown into a 110 peg complex, thanks to the support of loyal customers over the years. The match record for open matches at Moorfields stands at 272lbs 12 ozs on the large match lake and 356.2.0lbs on the smaller match lake. On matchdays, visitors can enjoy food at the onsite cafe, and toilet facilities are available for convenience.
