Burton Farm Fishery is a picturesque complex located just off junction 1 of the M69 motorway, offering easy access to Leicester and Coventry. The 72-acre site is home to a variety of lakes catering to anglers of all ages and abilities, with a wide range of fish species to target including Carp, Ide, Golden Rudd, Chub, and large Perch. The Kingfisher Lake is the specimen lake on site, with just eight pegs available. Tight rules ensure a great fishing experience, with well looked after carp to be caught. The Four pleasure fishing lakes include the Heron Lake, Robin Pool (ideal for juniors), Redwood Lake, and Woodpecker Lake. In addition to the fishing lakes, there is a café on site with a licensed bar, offering breakfast, lunch, barista coffee, and a selection of snacks and drinks. The café also stocks Dynamite baits for anglers to purchase. The Kingfisher Lake is regarded as the carp lake on the site, with recently enlarged facilities and a variety of fish to be caught. The lake offers a mix of subsurface features, a central island, and depths ranging from 5-7ft. The Heron Lake is a 35-year-old, 2-acre lake with multiple fish species including Chub, Roach, Rudd, Bream, Carp, Ide, and Koi. The Redwood Lake spans over 3 acres and offers a mix of match and pleasure fishing, with a diverse range of fish species to target. The Woodpecker Lake is 1.5 acres with 24 pegs and a selection of coarse fish. The smallest lake on site, Robin, covers 0.8 acres and is perfect for beginners, anglers with disabilities, coaching, or junior matches. The lake is well stocked with silverfish and carp up to 6lbs.
