Trent View Carp Fishery is a 28-acre gravel pit in Hoveringham village, increasingly renowned for its carp. Swims are car-accessible, with double swims available for pre-booking. Facilities include toilets, hot showers, and an on-site tackle shop. A burger cabin and log cabin with a woodburner offer added comfort. The lake boasts impressive specimens, including a record mirror carp named "Gutsy" at 45.8lb, along with several other 40lb+ fish. Over 70 fish weigh 30lb+, with 25 over 35lb. All carp are dye-marked for identification and security, with a supplementary feeding program using Trent View pellets. The fishery is secured with an otter fence, CCTV, and locked gates overnight.
