Lloyds Meadow Fishery, located near Chester in Cheshire, is a popular destination for coarse fishing enthusiasts. The fishery offers four mixed coarse fishing lakes which are home to a variety of fish species such as Carp, Bream, Barbel, and Chub. One of the key features of the fishery is that it is disabled-friendly, with several pegs specifically designed to accommodate disabled anglers. Night fishing is allowed at the fishery, offering anglers the opportunity to enjoy fishing under the stars. However, visitors are advised to bring their own food as there is no onsite cafe where snacks or drinks can be purchased. Among the four lakes at the fishery, Heron stands out as the top lake, boasting quality fishing opportunities with a single island to fish from. Kingfisher is another popular lake known for its quality fishing, with anglers believing it to be home to the biggest carp at the fishery, along with two islands for fishing. Fox is the smallest lake of the four, featuring a central island for anglers to fish towards. Badger, on the other hand, is the largest lake at the fishery and is mostly frequented by carp anglers. Recently added to the fishery, both Badger and Fox present exciting opportunities for anglers as the size and potential of the fish in these lakes remain unknown.
