Information
Brooklyn Grange Farm Fishery in Staffordshire, Moorlands offers two stunning venues for both specimen carp anglers and pleasure anglers. Brooklyn Lake is the place to be for those looking to target carp just under the 30lb mark, as well as Roach over 2lb. With 9 swims around the square-shaped lake, anglers can enjoy a peaceful session while waiting for the action to pick up. The lake is approximately 2.5 acres in size with an average depth of 8ft, providing a moderate stocking of mirrors and commons. The lake record currently stands at 29lb, making these fish a challenge to catch at times. The clay substrate makes bait presentation easy, but anglers are advised to go easy on the bait as the carp are accustomed to feeding on naturals. Roaches View, on the other hand, is more suited for intermediate anglers, with Roach, Common Carp, and mirror carp reaching mid-teens in size. This 3.25-acre venue offers 6 strategically placed swims around its banks, ranging in depth from 6-10ft. The lake is rich in naturals, so anglers are encouraged to start with minimal bait and build their swim gradually. With a clay bottom similar to Brooklyn Lake, presenting rigs and hook baits should not be a challenge for anglers who get it right. Overall, Brooklyn Grange Farm Fishery is a secluded paradise for anglers looking to enjoy a day by the water and possibly land some impressive catches.
