Bugley Pools Fishery offers a secluded and picturesque setting in the traditional county of Dorset, featuring three beautiful lakes for exclusive bookings, social gatherings, and a true escape into the freedom of nature. The venue boasts a hand-picked selection of carp, including scattered scaley mirrors up to 30.2lb and torpedo-shaped commons reaching over 29lb. Lake exclusives are now available, with the largest water spanning an acre and offering six spacious wood chipped swims for a maximum party size of four anglers. The lakes are stocked with 70 unique carp from top carp farms, ensuring each fish is a stunning photo opportunity. The carp, which average between 14lb and 16lb, are carefully managed for weight gain, with the largest resident being a mirror named Tank at just over 30lb. Anglers will find a variety of depths ranging from 3ft to 15ft, along with weed growth that provides natural food sources for the carp. The middle lake, Mallard, sits at just over half an acre and features three well-maintained swims with a social area for charging equipment and enjoying a BBQ. Stocked with 60 carp ranging in size up to 27.5lbs, Mallard also boasts a population of Roach, Rudd, and Tench for additional fishing opportunities. The lake offers clear fishing spots with depths ranging from 3ft to 10ft, making it easier to target key areas for baiting and catching. Moorhen, the smallest of the three lakes at a quarter of an acre, is designed for intimate fishing experiences for two. Stocked with 45 carp, including the big common Nancy at over 24lb, anglers can enjoy a serene setting with clear spots to target and healthy weed growth. The social space between swims provides amenities like charging facilities, BBQ, and a fire pit for a comfortable and enjoyable fishing session.
