Information

Arrow Lake may be our smallest match lake, but it is truly a hidden gem that provides an exceptional fishing experience for smaller clubs and pleasure anglers alike. Despite its size of just under 1.5 acres, Arrow Lake consistently delivers impressive weights of up to 100lbs, making it a competitive and exciting venue for anglers of all levels. The lake's diverse underwater terrain, with depths ranging from 4 to 6 feet and shallow margins of 2 feet, appeals to a variety of fish species and offers a unique fishing challenge. Surrounded by lush trees and shrubs on the far bank, Arrow Lake creates a peaceful and scenic backdrop for anglers to relax and enjoy their fishing experience. In 2017, significant improvements were made to Arrow Lake to enhance the fishing environment. The lake was drained, allowing larger fish to be relocated to the House Pool. Desilting activities were carried out to promote a healthier ecosystem for the fish, and 15 new spacious pegs were constructed to provide comfortable fishing spots for anglers. Today, Arrow Lake boasts a diverse range of fish species including Carp, Barbel, Ide, Roach, Perch, Bream, and Tench, offering anglers a rewarding and varied fishing session. Whether you are a member of a small club looking to compete or an individual seeking a leisurely fishing experience, Arrow Lake is the perfect destination to test your angling skills and potentially reel in some impressive catches.
