Anglers can expect to reel in six different types of Carp, some weighing over 30 pounds, as well as Green and Golden Tench, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Chubb, Barble, and Golden Orfe. In order to fish in the lakes, visitors must purchase a day ticket on the actual day of their visit, with the current price for a course fishing day ticket set at £6.00. The rules for fishing in the lakes are strict, including stipulations that the ticket is non-transferable and only valid for the day it is issued, a maximum of two rods per ticket, fishing hours limited to between sunrise and sunset, and night fishing only permitted by request. Anglers are also required to use barbless hooks, with no micro barbs allowed, and are prohibited from keeping any carp in keep nets. Additionally, it is strictly forbidden to remove or retain any fish in any type of container or net, with violators facing a lifetime ban and possible legal action. Overall, fishing enthusiasts visiting the park can look forward to a rewarding angling experience surrounded by natural beauty and abundant fishing opportunities.
