Information
Manor Pool is a small yet productive fishing spot that provides anglers with a pleasant and fruitful experience. Despite some restrictions on the use of certain baits, such as keepnets, boilies, and groundbait, anglers have found success using maggots and bread. The pool, measuring 150 feet in length and 60 feet in width, is teeming with Mirrors and Commons weighing up to 20 pounds, with smaller carp in the 5 to 6-pound range also present. Anglers have also reported catching Tench weighing up to 5 pounds, as well as other fish species like hybrids, roach, and small bream. During a recent visit, one angler managed to catch around 30 pounds of fish in a 12-hour session using strawberry pellets and bread as bait. While the angler regretted not having maggots on hand for added success, they still had a rewarding fishing experience. The nearest tackle shop in Bridgnorth, located about a 20-mile round trip away, provided a helpful resource for future visits. Overall, Manor Pool offers a diverse range of fish species and opportunities for success with different fishing techniques. From the impressive Mirrors and Commons to the lively smaller carp and other fish, Manor Pool promises an enjoyable and fulfilling fishing experience for anglers of all levels.
