Our fishing facility offers three well-stocked lakes for anglers to enjoy. The Carp Lake, known as our specimen lake, is home to a variety of Mirror and Common Carp weighing up to 30LB. The Roadside Lake is perfect for pleasure fishing, as well as hosting Open Matches and Angling Club Matches. With regular competitions and day-ticket fishing available, anglers have plenty of opportunities to test their skills. The Island Lake is a leisurely option for coarse fishermen, with carp up to 20LB and a relaxing atmosphere. With a total of 87 pegs available, including wheelchair accessible options and ample parking behind most pegs, our lakes are easily accessible. Full toilet facilities and a cafe are conveniently located on site, ensuring anglers have everything they need for a comfortable fishing experience. Our lakes, dug in the 1930s, are mature and picturesque, with a variety of features including plateaus, gravel spots, drop offs, and overhanging trees. The Island Lake, just over an acre in size, features two islands and lily pads that provide shelter for fish in all weather conditions. Anglers can expect a good mix of fish while enjoying a peaceful day of fishing. The Road Lake, approximately 1.8 acres in size, offers depths ranging from 5 to 12 feet and has been recently restocked with a variety of fish species. With 43 permanent pegs, including wheelchair accessible options, this lake is ideal for anglers looking to catch a mixed bag of fish and test their skills. The Speci Lake, at 2.5 acres, features gravel bars, drop offs, plateaus, and a lily bed. Anglers can find a variety of fish species, including Mirror and Common Carp, Tench, Grass Carp, Bream, and more. Tree-lined banks provide cover for fish in the summer months, creating a serene fishing environment. Overall, our fishing lakes offer a range of experiences for anglers of all levels.
