Information
The old mill lodge is a serene fishing spot surrounded by trees, offering easy access to pegs for fishermen of all skill levels. The shallower pegs located near the entrance of the fishery are known to yield impressive catches during the summer months, with bags filled mostly with small Carp but also containing sizeable Tench, Roach, Perch, and Skimmers. On the other hand, the deeper pegs consistently produce Roach and Skimmers, while also offering the chance to catch Tench and Crucians in the margins. Some of the top catches at the lodge include Carp weighing over 30lbs (with the best catch in 2003 being a 26lb Carp), Tench up to 6lbs, Crucians, Roach, Perch, and Bream. The fishery is actively stocked with various species to ensure a diverse and exciting fishing experience for anglers. Whether you're targeting big Carp or aiming to reel in some Roach and Skimmers, the old mill lodge offers a fruitful fishing experience for both seasoned anglers and beginners alike.
