Aldin Grange is a beautiful fishing destination located on 20 acres of serene farmland. The fishery boasts five well-stocked lakes, including two trout lakes that are fly fishing only, two coarse lakes, and one competition lake for matches. The coarse lakes are home to a variety of fish such as Carp (Common, Mirror, Ghost, and F1’s), Crucian, Tench, Perch, Roach, Rudd, Bream, Chub, Orfe, Ide, and Barbel, with Carp weighing from 8oz to 20lb. Barbless hooks are required, and ground bait must be used in a feeder or pole cup. The fishery is open from 7am until dusk (9pm), with specific rules regarding the number of rods allowed depending on the season. The Trout Fishing Lakes, also known as Troutmaster Water, are fly fishing only with Rainbow, Brown, and Blue Trout available. Only Rainbow Trout are allowed to be kept, with sizes ranging from 1lb to 15lb. The lakes are easily accessible, making it convenient for disabled and elderly anglers. Each peg is well-maintained with a solid, marked out base and regularly trimmed vegetation. Facilities on-site include a car park, toilets, fishing lodge, hot and cold meals, drinks facilities, microwave, on-site bait, and a farm shop. Aldin Grange also caters to matches on their competition lake and offers corporate days.
