Crouch Valley Fishery, located near Rayleigh in Essex, is a popular fishing spot stocked with Carp, Bream, Tench, Roach, Perch, and Rudd. Operated by Hockley Angling Club, the fishery was established by Robin & Janice Payne in 1986 and has since expanded from a 3-acre to a 7-acre site with three lakes - Top Lake, Left Lake, and Right Lake. The lakes, known for their quality, are accessible via surrounding hard paths, with Top Lake even having steps and slopes for fishing equipment. Facilities at the fishery include a toilet block with mains sewage, running water, and hand cleaning facilities for both men and women/disabled visitors. A large hardstanding car park provides easy parking near all lakes, and members of the club can access the site 24 hours a day, year-round. Fishing guests are welcome for a fee, with adults charged £8 and minors under 16 charged £5. Non-fishing guests can visit free of charge. With its well-maintained facilities and variety of fish species, Crouch Valley Fishery offers a peaceful and enjoyable fishing experience for anglers of all levels.
