Mighty Furzton is a large 70-acre water known for its impressive fish and stock levels. The carp in the lake have reached an impressive 33 lbs. mark, with tench quickly catching up to those at Willen. Additionally, there are shoals of bream and roach in the lake, with nets of roach reaching up to 40 lbs. in evening matches. Anglers have also reported bream catches of over 60 lbs., especially early in the season. Catch and release carp anglers have had success with catches exceeding 200 lbs. in marathon sessions. Furzton is now open all year, providing anglers with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the great fishing opportunities the lake has to offer.
