Dovecote Lake

The Dovecote Lake is a popular mixed fishery that boasts a variety of fish including Carp, Bream, Tench, Roach, Perch, and Pike. In recent seasons, the club has introduced an impressive 350 Carp into the lake, many of which are the renowned Dinks/Leney crosses from Priory Fisheries. These Carp have thrived in the lake over the past decade, with a significant number now weighing over 20lbs, and a considerable amount exceeding 30lbs. One exceptional fish named "One Eye" has gained notoriety for its impressive size, weighing in at 48-49lbs and reaching a peak weight of over 50lbs. The lake offers convenient access and is open for fishing throughout the year, making it a popular destination for anglers of all levels.
