Kingslake is a fishing haven with seven well-stocked lakes that cater to a variety of tastes and abilities. The lakes are home to plentiful carp, with the record catch this year being 21lbs. There are also two Tench lakes with a record catch of 6lb 1oz. The lakes are surrounded by trees and shrubs, creating a sheltered and serene environment. The areas around the lakes are regularly maintained, with lawn-like paths for easy access and to enhance the beauty of the scenery. The Main Carp Lake is nestled in a valley surrounded by woodland, offering a very sheltered location for fishing. The lake is stocked with carp up to approximately 20lbs, although larger fish have been spotted by fishermen. The Kitchen Lake, located 70 yards from the cottages, is another Carp lake with woodland surroundings and carp up to 16lbs. For Tench enthusiasts, there are two well-stocked lakes offering hours of fishing fun. The first tench lake is easily accessible, while the Kingfisher lake is tucked away in a secluded spot, providing a peaceful fishing experience surrounded by nature. The Mixed Lake is over 1 acre in size, stocked with a variety of fish including carp, bream, tench, roach, dace, and crucian carp. This lake is suitable for all ages and abilities, with flat and easily accessible paths. The Woodpecker Lake is a newer addition to the lakes, opened for fishing in 2008. This lake has carp up to 16lbs and provides a unique fishing experience with fishing platforms extending into the water and various features to add interest.
