Rougham Carp Fishery, located just a short distance from Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, is a top-tier destination for carp fishing enthusiasts. The fishery prides itself on offering a high-quality fishing experience, with a limited number of season tickets available to ensure exclusivity and a peaceful atmosphere for members to enjoy. The fishery is home to a diverse population of approximately 150-200 carp, including original fish that are over 40 years old, as well as 80 carp sourced from renowned carp farms across the country. To enhance their stock, Rougham Carp Fishery introduced 30 high-quality carp from VS Fisheries in 2011, along with 10 Dinton strain mirrors. These stocked fish have been rapidly growing, with the largest currently reaching mid-twenties and all well into double figures. In 2014, the fishery expanded its population even further by introducing 40 carefully selected carp from Deben Valley Fisheries. This strategic stocking approach ensures the long-term health and prosperity of the fishery. Presently, Rougham Carp Fishery boasts an impressive count of 25-30 carp weighing over 20lbs, with the remaining fish all falling in the double-figure range. Rougham Carp Fishery is dedicated to providing a leading specimen carp fishing experience in Suffolk. Their commitment to maintaining the quality of the fishery, coupled with the fast-growing carp population and serene surroundings, make it a premier destination for anglers seeking a top-quality fishing experience in the area.
