To further enhance the fishing experience, stocking efforts have been implemented at Witham Friary. In September 2017, the bottom lake was stocked with 2700 tench and true crucians, adding to the diversity of fish species available for anglers to target. Additionally, in December, the larger lake was stocked with a variety of fish including rudd, roach, bream, and carp, providing anglers with even more opportunities to reel in a big catch.
