Robinswood, also known as Frensham Trout Fishery, offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Situated on the Surrey/Hampshire borders in a wooded valley, the fishery consists of 6 lakes that provide a peaceful setting for anglers of all levels. As you drive along the winding track for a quarter of a mile, the first lake you come across is Kingfisher Lake, named after the abundant kingfishers that can be spotted in the area. The lake is fed by a picturesque waterfall that tumbles into Whitmore Vale Stream, which is known for its population of wild brown trout. Continuing on for 200 yards, you will reach the car park next to 'The Nest', a wooden clubhouse that overlooks Robins Lake. This lake spans over 2 acres and offers crystal clear water for anglers to enjoy. Whether you are a novice angler looking to relax in nature or a seasoned fisherman seeking a new challenge, Robinswood provides a peaceful and scenic environment for all. With its diverse lakes, abundance of wildlife, and stunning views, Robinswood is a hidden gem for those looking to escape to the great outdoors and enjoy a day of fishing in a serene setting.
