Buchan Park, located on Horsham Road in Crawley (RH11 9HQ), is a popular fishing destination that offers a variety of fish species for anglers to catch. However, it is important to note that the park observes a closed fishing season from 15th March to 15th June, during which fishing activities are not permitted. For members entering the park, fishing is only allowed during designated fishing times, and no members are allowed to enter the park before the specified fishing times. Additionally, the use of bait boats is strictly prohibited, and the park maintains a close season in order to adhere to regulations set for fish preservation. Despite the regulations in place, Buchan Park provides anglers with the opportunity to catch a range of fish species, including Roach weighing up to 1lb, Rudd weighing up to 3/4lb, Perch weighing over 3lb, Bream weighing over 8lb, Sunfish weighing 20z, Carp weighing over 30lb, Pike weighing over 20lb, Tench weighing 2lb, and Crucian Carp weighing 2lb. These fish offer anglers an exciting fishing experience and make Buchan Park a popular fishing spot in the area.
