Arnfield Fly Fishery is located on the border crossroads of four counties - Derbyshire, Yorkshire, Cheshire, and Lancashire, making it easily accessible with only a 20-30 minute drive from major cities such as Sheffield, Stockport, and Manchester. Situated in the picturesque Derbyshire village of Tintwistle, the fishery boasts some of the best still water traditional dry and wet fly fishing in the country. The fishery is home to a variety of fish including Rainbow, Blue, and Brown trout that can weigh up to 20 lbs. These fish are full-finned and known for putting up a great fight. Covering 40 acres, the fly fishing area is just the right size - not too small and not too big. This allows for beginners to learn the art of fly fishing while also providing experienced anglers with room to move around and enjoy the natural surroundings.
