The indoor and outdoor multi-sensory play and education centre for children and young people with special needs and disabilities, along with integrated play, is a haven for families to come together in a supportive and safe environment. Located within the secure facility of Aldenham Country Park, visitors have access to various amenities within the park such as nature walks, art trails, and a rare breeds petting farm. The centre offers a wide range of activities including arts and crafts sessions, holiday activities, and horticulture projects, ensuring that there is always something to do regardless of the weather. Soft play areas, sensory rooms, reading corners, and musical instruments provide children with opportunities for expression and play. The adventure playground features three main zones that cater to adventure, free-play, and sensory play, with various play equipment such as a treehouse slide, zip wire, and musical chimes. Wildlife is abundant in the natural woodland surrounding the playground, with wild rabbits often approaching visitors. Toffee, the resident rabbit, is a popular attraction and can be met on designated days. The centre also offers opportunities for community involvement through volunteer programs and sensory garden development projects. Visitors are encouraged to like and share the centre's page to stay updated on activities and events while also supporting the facility by spreading the word and booking play sessions. By joining the growing community at the centre, individuals can make a positive impact in keeping the playground open and accessible for all.
