At Clavering Lakes & Lodge, anglers can enjoy a peaceful and well-stocked fishing experience at one of the four lakes available on the property. The Specimen Carp Lake, covering 3.5 acres with 40 swims, is known for its excellent carp angling opportunities. The Match Lake, spanning 2 acres, is filled with a variety of coarse fish species including bream, roach, tench, rudd, crucian carp, and perch. The Silverfish Lake is capable of producing impressive catches of 20lbs to 30lbs in a short session, while the Lower Lake offers a mixed coarse fishery with the potential for excellent bags in short sessions. All ages are welcome at Clavering Lakes & Lodge, but children under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult and anglers must be at least 15 years old for night fishing. The lakes are easily accessible from the car parks, and visitors are encouraged to view the site plan to get a sense of the location. Additionally, guests should familiarize themselves with the rules and pricing information before embarking on their fishing adventure.
