With over 30 years of experience as a working arable farm, Rockells Farm provides visitors with a serene environment to relax and unwind. One of the highlights of Rockells Farm is its 3-acre lake, which is heavily stocked with Carp, Tench, Roach, Rudd, and Chub. This mature lake is fed by a stream and surrounded by weeping willows and lush trees, creating a serene and idyllic setting for fishing. The lake, which was excavated 35 years ago, is home to an average fish size of around 3lb, making it a popular destination for fishing enthusiasts. There are 27 swims on the lake, but only 24 are fishable due to the water level being only 5 inches deep. However, the platforms around the lake provide excellent facilities for coarse fishing, making it accessible for anglers of all abilities. Disabled anglers are also welcomed at Rockells Farm, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the beauty of the lake and its surroundings. The lake at Rockells Farm is predominantly stocked with Carp weighing up to 26 lb and Tench weighing up to 4.5 lb, providing ample opportunities for a challenging and rewarding fishing experience. The presence of Roach, Rudd, and Chub also adds to the variety of fish available for anglers to catch, making it an interesting destination for winter fishing as well.
